Story Behind the Invention
Inventor John Brundage, a survivor of a drive by shooting where he was shot eight inches from his left ear, has embarked on a mission to alleviate the distress caused by noise-related PTSD. His life-altering incident occurred on July 4, 1966, leaving him with terrible recurring health issues. In 2007, his condition worsened due to an improperly balanced HVAC system and a fire alarm test at work, leading to vertigo, tinnitus, brain fog, general anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, and a cognitive disorder. After spending two years incapacitated, he was diagnosed with Menieres Disease by Johns Hopkins ENTAA. However, in 2022, they retracted their diagnosis, leaving his condition a mystery. It was then that John hypothesized that his symptoms were related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) triggered by loud noises. In 2018, John discovered an unexpected remedy: medical cannabis strain Jack Herer and the E note from the Consecration Bell of the Cologne Cathedral. This combination put him into remission. Inspired by this breakthrough, John invented the Noise Injury Relief System. He aims to help people with similar disorders, including veterans and individuals suffering from Menieres Disease or noise-related injuries. The Noise Injury Relief System is now ready for market!
