Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Orlando of Ohio has developed a new way for pool owners to heat their pool water in a quick and cost-effective manner. Living in Ohio with its tricky weather, Orlando always wanted a pool heater for his pool. Heaters, however, can be extremely expensive and difficult to operate. Although he had a solar pool cover, it was a hassle dealing with it each day. Orlando just knew there had to be a way to get more use out of his pool. In turn, he was inspired to create the Heat Wave Pool Heater! The invention utilizes a standard submersible water pump that is placed into the pool. A water hose then carries water to a heating element which instantly heats the water to around 70 Celsius/158 degrees Fahrenheit. The pressurized water then flows back into the pool in a continuous loop. The invention is portable and will not interrupt the pool filter. No professional installation is needed. The device can easily be used on swimming pools of any size. A custom cover for the propane tank is also envisioned. Want to learn more?
