Inventors Tony R. Stacy and Angelia Stacy of Abingdon, VA have created a door lock with enhanced lifesaving security features.

Tony, a former school worker, and Angelia, still active in education, were deeply moved by the issue of school safety, especially with four grandchildren attending school as well. With the rise in school and business shootings, the inventors were inspired to devise a solution.

Door security is crucial in settings like schools, offices, and government buildings, where traditional locks can be easily breached, putting occupants at risk. But now, Stacys High Security Door effectively addresses this problem.

How does it work? The invention features an innovative internal mechanism that activates multiple locking pins around the door’s perimeter, forming a robust barrier against forced entry. When secured, the door and frame become one, and would be extremely challenging to penetrate. This entirely mechanical system, free from electronics, guarantees reliability even during power outages.
