Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Richard K. Vaughn of Lafayette, LA has developed an innovative new face mask with numerous enhanced features.

These days, protecting ourselves from germs and illness has never been more important. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Richard was tired of seeing everyone go through numerous masks. This included both paper and cloth masks. Not only were they being rapidly disposed, but masks would also be littered everywhere from parking lots to roadways. It was becoming a mess. He also realized the sanitary value of having a mask that could easily be wiped clean with alcohol swabs. Not every mask has enough protective qualities. Also, not everyone is able to wear a standard face mask due to health issues. With these things in mind, Richard was inspired to develop the Special Resistance Protective Mask #1!
