Inventor Eddie Cannon of Whispering Pines, NC has created a portable cargo strap winder for truckers.

Having worked in trucking for over 35 years, Eddie would transport loads of wood and pallets by flat bed. This involved using many cargo straps in all kinds of weather. This meant winding straps by hand in wet and dirty conditions. He just knew there had to be a better way of working with these straps. In turn, he was inspired to develop a portable cargo strap winder that would get the job done quickly and efficiently without fail.

Made to be operated by left- or right-handed users, this device is both convenient and easy to use. The invention is used after taking straps off cargo and offers better control of the straps at recovery time. In addition, cleanup is cut in half because now you can roll perfect rolls every time!
