Story Behind the Invention

Inventor James R. Schultz of Carson City, MI has created a specialized adapter for attaching a winch mount to an existing snow plow.

To maneuver his travel trailer, boat trailer, and utility trailer, James needed a front receiver on his 2013 Silverado HD pickup. He also wanted to install a winch on the front of his truck. After searching the market, all he could find were front receivers that attach in between the frame. But he already had a snow plow mount on his truck. There was no way to install a receiver to the frame, unless the snow plow mount was removed. This would result in time, money, and would cause additional wear and tear to the components with each removal and re-installation. James just knew there had to be another way. In turn, he was inspired to develop the Easy On / Off Adaptable Hitch-Winch Mount! Now, its ready for market!
