Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Ronald Pilla of White Lake, MI has designed an auger style bit, powered by an electric drill, for digging out post holes. The idea was born while attempting to punch holes in bad terrain. Ronald needed to install stairs on the side of a steep hill. However, the ground was frozen and full of roots. Nothing could get in there. But Ronald knew there had to be a way. It took six different designs to perfect it, but now Aug-A-Bit has been fully developed and is ready for market! But how does it work? The invention is easily powered by any half inch drill you have on hand. It is light and fast, yet strong enough to punch through all types of dirt, frozen ground, tree roots, and even through broken fence posts. During use, simply apply slight downward pressure on the drill, while allowing the invention to do the work! The auger plates remove the displaced dirt with ease, saving you time and money.Want to learn more about Aug-A-Bit?
