Inventor Danette Keepers of Jackson, MI has designed a sleek protective carrier for transporting tier cakes safely and affordably.

As a cake decorator of 15 years, Danette faced the frustrations that come with transporting delicate tiered cakes. Flimsy, single-use cardboard boxes left her creations vulnerable to sliding and collapsing, all while driving up costs at around $10 per box. More durable options on the market were also way too expensive. Tired of seeing her hard work and her clients’ celebrations threatened by poor packaging, Danette set out to find a better way. Inspired by her own experiences and the needs of fellow bakers, she created Armored Cakes!
