Story Behind the Invention

Valve Grip was originally developed to help my elderly step dad open his propane tank. Due to his arthritis he was unable to easily turn his propane tank valve to turn on the gas to grill as a lot of them are rusted and corroded from years of use. It also was a solution for my wife to know what valve to turn on when lighting the grill. We also knew that there was a problem with valves being over tightened when you exchange a tank to get a new one.

I knew there was a problem that needed to be solved to help facilitate the act of opening and closing your propane tank. The solution was to make a bigger circumference handle for better grip and to make it very visible with a vibrant color. Also, its the only adapter handle that stays attached to the valve while the tank is attached to your grill and can be removed and replaced every time you exchange your tank.
