Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Franklin D. Tunis of Largo, FL has created an improved concrete jointer tool!
As anyone who works with concrete knows, control joints are an important part of many masonry projects. Normally, control joints are put into hardening concrete by use of a joint groover. While joint groovers are widely known and utilized in the industry, they are prone to wear and tear. Over time, they will no longer be able to create sharp control joints. Having worked in concrete for years, Franklin knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he took matters into his own hands and developed the Tunis Jointer!
Users will simply pour concrete, float the concrete, and mark it up. They will then use the invention to cut the control joints. The weight of the tool will make it a straightforward and effortless process. This tool is made to last! Its stainless-steel construction ensures it will not wear out or rust like other joint groovers on the market.
