Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Shirley Brannon of Martinsburg, WV has designed a new product for cutting food into bite size pieces for small pets.
The idea was born after Shirleys small dog, Dolly, started having trouble eating. She has no teeth and went days without touching her food. Shirley soon realized the canned dog food was too big for Dollys mouth. She tried chopping the food into small pieces, but it was a time-consuming process and the smell of the dog food always turned her stomach. She just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, she developed the Square Food Cutter!
The invention has been specially designed to cut food into bite size pieces to better accommodate the size of a small animals mouth. Users will simply position the invention over the pet food and press down with some force. This will break the food into small manageable bites. Not only will this help your pet eat, the smaller portions will also be better for their digestive system.
