Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Helen Hardy of Hollidaysburg, PA has created a device that allows for the exact needed length of an electrical cord, without one having to resort to using an extension cord of an incorrect length.
Finding the correct length of extension cord can prove challenging. Using an extension cord that is much too long can be an eyesore in a room. These long cords also present a tripping hazard. Inventor Hardy has created the Retractable Electrical Cord Device which stores up to twenty feet of cord in length. The device saves time and money by eliminating one having to search for various extension cords to fit different needs.
This clever new invention adjusts to desired length. The extra length rolls up if not needed. It works similar to measuring tape. There is no need to spend time hiding long cords. The invention is easy to manufacture. The use of the Retractable Electrical Cord Device distributes only the amount of cord needed and hides the extra cord in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
