Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Jennifer Kay Stringer, a licensed K-8 teacher and certified daycare director, along with Carson D. Stringer and Austin R. Stringerof Hattiesburg, MS have created an educational board game for preschool children that can also be used to establish benchmarking guidelines.
It is necessary to determine how a child is performing in relation to his or her peers, and to determine if he or she is ready for school, or the next step in their educational process. However, one-on-one sessions with an adult or teacher can be scary for a child, causing inaccurate results. Inventors Stringer have created a childs game that is not only fun to play, but also aids in determining learning benchmarks as well.
This clever new invention is a non-structured, fun way of learning. It is for preschool children, ages 3-5. There are math, language, and physical questions and tasks. Questions are of various difficulty levels. The first to reach the end of the game path wins. The Educational Board Gamenot onlyprovides a fun and entertaining board game for children, but also allows for easy benchmarking of the childs individual skill level.
