Inventors Dwayne and Lisa Parkin have developed a groundbreaking modular concrete forming system called The OctaPillar, an innovative stay-in-place solution that eliminates traditional wooden forms and heavy steel frameworks while delivering superior structural performance and stunning finished results.

Growing up with the hands-on responsibility of caring for horses, Dwayne Parkin understood construction challenges from an early age. His experience in the building industry, combined with a passion for smarter solutions, led him and Lisa to engineer The OctaPillar a system that transforms the way concrete pillars are built, from the ground up.

The OctaPillar system consists of interlocking plastic sleeves (panels or leaves) that slide together to form a precise octagonal mold for concrete pillars. The system ships flat in a convenient box and includes two sets of rectangular plastic sleeves: eight 32-inch sleeves for staggered side-slide assembly, and eight 16-inch sleeves that can be stacked continuously to heights of 20 feet and beyond.Each sleeve features male and female interlocking cogs that engage adjacent panels at exactly 135-degree angles creating the octagonal geometry at the heart of the invention. Once assembled, The OctaPillar form is filled with concrete and remains permanently in place, serving as both a protective structural case and a finished decorative exterior no form removal required.
