Story Behind the Invention
Inventor John Little has developed a wrist-mounted bowling aid that gives bowlers with missing fingers the grip, control, and confidence to get back on the lanes.John knows firsthand the frustration of loving a sport and feeling locked out of it. After losing fingers, he discovered that no equipment existed to truly solve the problem existing gloves and wrist supports all assumed the user still had functioning fingers to work with. Determined not to give up the game he loved, John set out to create a solution from scratch, and the Bowl Again Glove was born! But how does it work? The Bowl Again Glove wraps securely around the wrist and hand using three adjustable hook-and-loop straps, forming a snug tunnel fit for left or right hand use. A curved grapple plate shaped to match the contour of a standard bowling ball sits on the palm side, featuring two pegs that insert directly into the ball’s finger holes. This gives the bowler a firm, stable connection to the ball throughout the approach, swing, and release. At the natural end of the arm’s motion, the ball releases automatically no fingers needed. Great for bowlers with amputations, neuropathy, or congenital limb differences, the Bowl Again Glove requires no modifications to the bowling ball or lane, making adaptive bowling accessible to everyone! The Bowl Again Glove is now ready for market!
