Inventor Eric Benckendorf of St. Louis, MO has created a vertical support exercise device. Whether you are recovering from surgery, maintaining your fitness, or simply striving to stay active, the invention paves the way for pain-free mobility!

Eric was passionate about running, but multiple meniscus surgeries and four degenerative discs forced him to give it up. He missed the efficient workouts running offered and was determined to find a way to keep going. One day, while rushing with a shopping cart in a parking lot, Eric discovered that resting his weight on the cart reduced his pain and allowed him to jog more comfortably. This moment sparked an idea. Eric began experimenting with an upright walker designed for extra hand, forearm, and weight support. Through ongoing trial and error, he evolved his design into the Vertical Plank Running Traction Exercise!
