But how does it work? Start by drilling a pilot hole 1/8 larger than the bolts thread size through the materials. Next, insert the bolt, place the washer, and secure it with the serrated nut. Tighten everything up, and you are good to go! For a refined, polished finish, apply filler over the bolt head, smooth it down, and paint it to match your design.
