Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Kelly Campbell of Covington, GA has developed a new system that lets you control a faucet effortlessly via a foot pedal on the floor.Kelly’s childhood was filled with moments he didnt think much of at the time but would later influence his life in a big way. He remembers his mothers constant frustration with him and his siblings when it came to water use. They would take long showers or leave the faucet running while washing dishes, often as a way to procrastinate. It didnt seem like a big deal at the time, but for his mom, it was important to keep the familys finances in check. Now a father himself, raising kids and balancing household budgets, he fully understands what his mother was feeling.Additionally, cooking can quickly become a messy endeavor, with flour-dusted hands or greasy ingredients making it tricky to operate a kitchen faucet. Also, for individuals with limited mobility or strength, using a faucet can be a difficult task. With these things in mind, Kelly was inspired to create Hands Free Flow! But how does it work? When activated, the pedal switch regulates water flow. When deactivated, the pedal is non-functional, and the faucet reverts to its original factory settings. With Hands Free Flow, you can say goodbye to wasted water and messy faucets, and hello to convenience and cost savings!Hands Free Flow is now ready for market! Want to learn more?
