Inventor Alton Ofczarzak of College Station, TX has developed an automated vending machine for electric vehicle batteries.

This means trips must be planned out to allow for overnight charges, which is not always realistic or even practical. Alton just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he created the Mega Charger SS. This automated vending machine for EV batteries drastically cuts down charging times, allowing you to get back out on the road. The invention is indeed a revolutionary stride forward in the EV industry.

But how does it work? Various locations and battery inventory can be tracked in real-time via a smart phone app. Each vending machine is completely automated and allows the batteries to be easily exchanged once a user pays through the app. Within five minutes, a user can be on their way! The depleted battery is then recharged, and when ready, is made available to new customers.
