Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Patrick Doyle of Orange, NJ has created a lightweight, portable battery-operated generator that can easily be carried wherever needed.

As a New Jersey resident, Patrick often experienced the inconvenience of power outages caused by storms and hurricanes. Traditional gasoline-powered generators, while useful, were not ideal due to their noise, hazardous exhaust, and outdoor-only usage restrictions. Motivated to find a better solution, Patrick was inspired to create the E-Box – an acronym for “Emergency Box”. The invention is a user-friendly alternative to traditional generators.

The invention features not 3, but 12 outlets for all your needs. It comes with a 12V DC outlet with 4 USB adapters, plus an AM/FM radio for sports and weather. Best of all, it does not require gas or fuel and is completely silent! The invention also has a light with 3 levels of brightness. If you are stuck on the road with a flat tire, simply place the magnetic light above your vehicle so oncoming traffic can see you from a distance.
