Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Larry J. Putman of Scottsboro, AL has created a device for putting on socks without struggle.
After a hip replacement surgery, Inventor Putman returned home from the hospital and realized he couldnt reach his toes to get his socks on. After multiple attempts, he slipped on his house shoes and drove to the nearest pharmacy in search of a sock donning aid. He looked around the store with the pharmacist but came up emptyhanded. Next, he decided to check out other retailers but still couldnt find anything. This is when his idea for Sockover was born!
This clever new invention features a long ergonomic handle so users can reach their feet and wont have to rely on others when getting dressed. The device can be used with socks of all kinds. It will be a great help for those who have had hip surgery, pregnant women, or anyone needing help reaching their toes. It is easy to manufacture.
