Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jason W. Woosley of Evansville, IN has developed a lawn care and landscape equipment holder that offers quick and easy access and outstanding security on and off the road.

As a lawn care professional, Jason was tired of losing a weed eater or two off the back of his trailer. Any bump in the road while traveling to the next job site can cause equipment and tools to become lost or damaged, resulting in unwelcome replacement or repair costs. Although bungee cords or rope can be used, these securing aids are not foolproof and take time to apply and remove, ultimately affecting the bottom line. Jason just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he created the Lawn Latcher!

The invention features an innovative latch system that is secured across equipment and tools to keep them from bouncing out during transit. The latch system can only be opened with the bottom spring. Equipment and tools stay in place this way, no matter how rough the terrain and because they can be easily accessed, lawn care professionals and landscapers can get to work without delay.
