Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Dylan Myers of Okmulgee, OK has created a clamping grip that gives your hand a set place to rest instead of having to grab the hydraulic hoses, which can be dangerous.

The idea was born after noticing how hydraulic hoses had to be used in order to maneuver the tamp and the resulting damage it caused. Once when Dylan was using the tamp with his hand on the hoses, the hoses burst. This caused hydraulic fluid to shoot in his face and on his clothes. After this happened, he just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he was inspired to develop the T-Bar!

The invention is a clamping grip that is not only safer, it helps to prevent unnecessary wear on the hoses. An added benefit is a swiveling handle with ergonomic grips for easier use. The handle also provides a longer reach for added convenience.
